I did a lot of work with collections management today by clearing some carts in the stacks and creating a repository for some reel to reel recorders and old style projectors. My supervisor brought in donuts but I was able to convince myself that a protein filled lunch was a better option.
Anyone have plans for the 4th? I am going to spend Saturday at my cousin’s but I have work off tomorrow and Friday and plan to spend those days in solitude with a good book.
definitely one of the nicest bookstores i’ve visited so far. also treated myself to a cinnamon bun and some downtime to re-read ‘a man called ove’ (big tip!)
i’ve applied to an advanced master programme and had to do an assessment test, which i thought i completely failed. but they invited me to a meeting so…who knows?!
